About the role

Provide database administration support for legal accounts and company portfolio
Manage Microsoft SQL Server 2019 and 2022: security, tables, indexes, stored procedures, SQL reports, maintenance jobs
Create and maintain databases in a Clustered Server environment
Design, develop, and maintain data models and related components
Integrate data lakes, warehouses and data marts with legacy infrastructure using metadata and data modeling
Implement mirroring, log shipping, redundancy, high availability, and backup/recovery strategies
Facilitate migration of systems into cloud infrastructure
Upgrade SQL Server instances and develop SSRS reports
Setup and manage reporting server and perform DBA functions and report development
Collaborate within the legal department and support government contracting work

Requirements

Top Secret Clearance Required
Manage Microsoft SQL Server 2019 and 2022 including security, tables, indexes, stored procedures, SQL reports, and maintenance jobs
Apply best practices for optimizing databases
Create and maintain databases in a Clustered Server environment
Expert knowledge of design, development and maintenance of various data models and their components
Working knowledge of data lakes, data warehouse and data mart architectures, metadata and data modeling, data flow, entity relationship diagram, schema architectures and query languages
Implement database mirroring, log shipping, redundancy, high availability, and full backup and recovery for SQL Server 2019/2022
Facilitate migration of systems into cloud infrastructure
Upgrade SQL Servers from lower versions to 2019+ and create reports using SSRS
Setup reporting server and perform all DBA functions and report development
