About the role
- Provide database administration support for legal accounts
- Manage Microsoft SQL Server 2019 and 2022: security, tables, indexes, stored procedures, SQL reports, maintenance jobs, and performance optimization
- Create and maintain databases in a Clustered Server environment
- Design, develop, and maintain various data models and their components
- Integrate data lakes, data warehouses, and data marts with legacy infrastructure
- Implement mirroring, log shipping, redundancy, high availability, and backup/recovery strategies for SQL Server
- Facilitate migration of systems into cloud infrastructure
- Upgrade SQL Servers to latest versions and develop SSRS reports
- Setup reporting servers and handle DBA functions and report development
- Collaborate on Software Systems development architecture and design
Requirements
- Top Secret Clearance Required
- Database administration support experience
- Experience managing Microsoft SQL Server 2019 and 2022 (setting up security, creating tables, indexes, stored procedures, designing SQL reports, creating maintenance jobs)
- Experience creating and maintaining databases in a Clustered Server environment
- Expert knowledge of design, development and maintenance of various data models and their components
- Working knowledge of data lakes, data warehouse and data mart architectures, metadata and data modeling, data flow, entity relationship diagrams, schema architectures and query languages
- Experience with mirroring, log shipping, redundancy, high availability, and full backup and recovery for Microsoft SQL Server 2019/2022
- Experience facilitating migration of systems into cloud infrastructure
- Experience upgrading SQL Server instances and creating reports using Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
- Experience setting up reporting servers and performing DBA functions and report development utilizing Software Systems development Architecture and Design
