About the role

  • Ensure the day-day availability of electronic discovery applications and related tools
  • Administer and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure; install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools
  • Monitor and test application performance; identify bottlenecks and implement fixes with vendors/developers
  • Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies
  • Assist in technical architecture design discussions and decisions
  • Liaise with vendors to address product issues on behalf of OGC
  • Develop and provide training for end-users of e-discovery tools
  • Provide general support and subject matter expertise on electronic discovery tools and applications
  • Reverse engineer and document legacy application/system architectures
  • Analyze business capabilities and translate requirements into technical specifications
  • Support discovery application integration and migration activities
  • Create and improve technical knowledge articles for Knowledge Management databases
  • Assist in implementation of e-discovery platforms (Relativity, Veritas eDP, other cloud-hosted review platforms)
  • Support backend infrastructure, data migrations, application installation, management and configuration
  • Install, operate, and manage Microsoft Server 2019/2022 and Microsoft SQL Server 2019/2022
  • Operate and manage cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, VMware) and serverless components (Azure Functions, AWS Lambda)

Requirements

  • Top Secret Clearance Required
  • Ensure the day-day availability of electronic discovery applications and related tools
  • Administer and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure; install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools
  • Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks; identify solutions and work with vendors/developers to implement fixes
  • Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies
  • Assist technical architecture design discussions
  • Liaise with vendors on behalf of OGC to address product issues
  • Develop and provide training for end-users
  • Provide general support, subject matter expertise and advice on the use of electronic discovery tools and applications
  • Reverse engineer and document the as-is architecture of existing legacy applications or systems
  • Analyze capabilities, interview and collect business requirements and translate into technical requirements
  • Support discovery application integration/migration activities
  • Contribute to Knowledge Management databases by creating and improving technical knowledge articles
  • Legal technology experience and knowledge of the EDRM
  • Assist in implementation of e-discovery tools (e.g., Relativity, Veritas eDP, or other review platforms hosted in the cloud)
  • Support backend infrastructure, data migrations, application installation, management and configuration
  • Ability to install, operate, and manage Microsoft Server 2019/2022 and Microsoft SQL Server 2019/2022
  • Ability to operate and manage cloud technologies including Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS, VMware, Azure Functions, Azure API Gateways, AWS EC2, AWS Lambda, and AWS API Gateways
  • Ability to operate and manage relational databases, MySQL and/or SQL Server 2012 or higher
