Provide full-time IT legal support services to support a large federal agency
Independently develop, modify, and maintain complex programs to support litigation environment applications, including litigation support databases, associated management systems, and analytical systems
Translate program requirements into program code
Test, debug, and refine programs to process data in accordance with written specifications
Revise programs to increase efficiency and reduce operating time
Develop data entry screens and other user interfaces and implement standardized reports
Create and generate specialized and ad hoc reports as required
Collaborate with stakeholders and contribute to government innovation
Requirements
Must be a United States Citizen
Substantial, hands-on programming experience in the systems environment being used
At least two years of directly applicable experience
At least three years of overall programming experience, including experience with large-scale database management systems
Requires excellent oral and written communication skills
Undergraduate degree strongly preferred - preferably in computer science or information management/technology disciplines
Broad knowledge of the Government's IT environments, including office automation networks, and PC and server-based databases and applications (ideal)
Supervisory or team leader experience (ideal)
Experience in automated litigation support (ideal)
Ability to independently develop, modify, and maintain complex programs
Ability to translate program requirements into program code
Experience testing, debugging, and refining programs
Experience developing data entry screens, user interfaces, and generating specialized and ad hoc reports
