💰 $45,000 - $55,000 per year
About the role
- Process electronic legal instruments and perform apprentice examination of legal instruments
- Review legal instruments for completeness and proper execution
- Provide direct support to Litigation Support Unit, attorneys, and paralegals regarding functional and administrative duties
- Determine correctness of action per Government regulations and procedures
- Research records to ascertain conditions that might preclude action
- Assist with processing data and evidence for cases and completion of discovery productions
- Assist with preparation of trial and hearing presentations and demonstratives
- Collect and compile statistical data for reports
- Provide assistance within the Administrative Division on project-based work and coverage during employee vacations
Requirements
- Attention to detail and the ability to read and follow directions
- Good oral and written communications skills
- Two-year undergraduate degree or equivalent
- Proficiency with numerous software and databases including, but not limited to, MICROSOFT SUITE
- Ability to review legal instruments for completeness and proper execution
- Experience supporting Litigation Support Unit tasks, attorneys, and paralegals
- Ability to determine correctness of action per Government regulations and procedures
- Ability to research records and process data and evidence for cases
