About the role

  • Provide high level administrative, clerical, and legal support for a large global law firm
  • Maintain legal files (paper & electronic) and organize documents in designated order
  • Prepare, keyboard, enter, proofread and process legal and administrative correspondence
  • Process time entry, open new matters, draft engagement letters, audit responses
  • Make travel arrangements and process reimbursement expenses
  • Maintain calendar, collate information, write reports, prepare agendas
  • Review and prepare billing invoices and manage document deliveries
  • Manage phone lines for supported attorneys, field calls and convey messages
  • Communicate with clients and agencies and update immigration case management system
  • Assist with overflow work and perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience is preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working in an Immigration law practice strongly preferred
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
  • Experience with document management and other office technologies
  • Previous experience with INSZoom is a plus
  • Exceptional computer skills with the ability to learn new software applications quickly
  • Maintains legal files (both paper & electronic), organizes and files documents in designated order

  • Manages document deliveries and tracks final executed documentation
  • Assists with overflow work and performs additional duties as assigned
