About the role
- Provide Apprentice examination of legal instruments
- Review legal instruments (completeness of information, proper execution)
- Provide direct support to Litigation Support Unit, attorneys and paralegals regarding functional and administrative duties as needed
- Determine correctness of action (per Government regulations, procedures, etc)
- Research records to ascertain conditions that might preclude action
- Process data and evidence for cases and assist with completion of discovery productions
- Assist with the preparation of trial and hearing presentations and demonstratives
- Collect and compile statistical data for various reports
- Provide assistance within the Administrative Division on project-based work and coverage during employee vacations
- Use various software and databases (including Microsoft Suite) to perform duties
Requirements
- Attention to detail and the ability to read and follow directions
- Good oral and written communications skills
- Two-year undergraduate degree or equivalent
- Proficiency with numerous software and databases including, but not limited to, MICROSOFT SUITE
- Ability to perform Apprentice examination of legal instruments and review legal instruments for completeness and proper execution
- Ability to research records and determine correctness of action per Government regulations and procedures
