Paralegal

• Provide Apprentice examination of legal instruments
• Review legal instruments (completeness of information, proper execution)
• Provide direct support to Litigation Support Unit, attorneys and paralegals regarding functional and administrative duties as needed
• Determine correctness of action (per Government regulations, procedures, etc)
• Research records to ascertain conditions that might preclude action
• Process data and evidence for cases and assist with completion of discovery productions
• Assist with the preparation of trial and hearing presentations and demonstratives
• Collect and compile statistical data for various reports
• Provide assistance within the Administrative Division on project-based work and coverage during employee vacations
• Use various software and databases (including Microsoft Suite) to perform duties
