About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Act as a key Finance contact for assigned stakeholders, managing the entire profit and loss (P&L) for their area of business.
- Analyze monthly and quarterly actuals, as well as budgeting, forecasting and ad hoc project work.
- Engage with MI owners to create or obtain the necessary information to support and challenge business teams.
- Align decision making with the Group’s financial objectives, long-term value maximisation and strategic priorities.
Requirements
What you’ll need- You’ll be a commercially minded, qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) finance professional with experience in the Insurance industry who enjoys working close to the business and building strong relationships with senior stakeholders.
- You’ll be comfortable interpreting financial and operational information, translating it into clear insight and using it to challenge thinking, influence decisions and support long-term value creation.
- You’ll bring strong analytical skills, a proactive approach and the confidence to work with stakeholders at different levels, including senior leadership.
- You’ll be someone who can balance detail with the bigger picture, explain financial performance in a simple and compelling way, and provide constructive challenge while remaining collaborative and pragmatic.
- Most importantly, you’ll be curious, credible and solutions focused, with a genuine interest in understanding how the business works and how Finance can help it succeed.
- You’ll thrive in a fast-paced, growing environment where priorities can shift, and you’ll enjoy using your expertise to make a meaningful impact.
