An experienced claims professional required to strengthen CFC’s claims team and deliver high quality claims service to policyholders, brokers, underwriters and capacity providers.
Work with CFC Claims and Incident Response team and external incident response vendors (forensic, legal, PR) to deliver cost effective, high quality responses to insureds.
Proactively handle cyber and technology claims from first notification of loss to settlement within CFC’s delegated authorities.
Foster good relationships with policyholders, brokers, underwriters and capacity providers and drive excellent customer service.
Actively work with a panel of response vendors during claims incidents.
Ensure prompt and accurate reserving, identify and pursue relevant third party recoveries and seek to reduce claims leakage.
Work closely with underwriters providing feedback on claims issues/trends and with the Products team on product and wording development.
Collaborate with Underwriting, Finance, IT and Products teams while complying with relevant legal and statutory (FCA and Lloyd’s) requirements and obligations.
Requirements
An experienced claims professional with experience in cyber and technology claims.
Experienced at dealing with external stakeholders in a customer service or consultancy environment.
The ability to prioritise where necessary, identifying deadlines such as those stipulated within lawsuits, demand letters and in addressing claims queries.
The capability of managing the work involved in cyber incidents and/or forensic investigations.
