About the role
- Develop a thorough understanding of CFC’s workflow processes and systems and gain exposure to insurance
- Provide excellent administrative support to underwriting teams to ensure target turnaround times for brokers and insureds
- Manage the underwriting central inboxes and log new and renewal submissions on CFC’s internal underwriting system
- Prepare activity reports and spreadsheets as directed
- Administer the department diary, including chasing outstanding items such as subjectivities and renewal business
- Answer incoming calls and field queries as appropriate
- Perform general ad-hoc administrative duties as required
- Reports to Cameron Griffiths
Requirements
- Impeccable organisational skills with the ability to prioritise work to meet tight deadlines and turnaround times
- Resilient and able to operate effectively and accurately under pressure
- Excellent level of attention to detail including accurate written and numeracy skills
- Good communications skills both written and verbal
- Above all you’re a team player
- Interest in Media and staying on top of current affairs within the relevant industry
