About the role

  • Manage and service the existing Financial Lines portfolio alongside senior underwriters
  • Provide exceptional customer service to brokers and internal stakeholders
  • Conduct regular portfolio reviews to monitor performance and profitability
  • Stay informed of industry developments and market trends
  • Ensure compliance with legislation, insurer guidelines, and company policies
  • Attend industry functions and networking events as required

Requirements

  • 2+ years’ experience within the Insurance industry, ideally in an Underwriting support capacity
  • Positive, professional, can-do attitude with a strong sense of accountability
  • Excellent customer service skills, including written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfortable with IT systems
  • Ability to work both autonomously and in a team setting
  • Understanding of the Australian insurance market
