About the role

  • Work with CFC’s Claims and Incident Response team to deliver high quality claims service to policyholders, brokers, underwriters and capacity providers
  • Guide clients and triage cyber incidents with appropriate external response partners
  • Proactively handle cyber and technology claims from first notification of loss to settlement within CFC’s delegated authorities
  • Actively work with a panel of response vendors during claims incidents (forensic, legal, PR)
  • Ensure prompt and accurate reserving and pursue relevant third party recoveries to reduce claims leakage
  • Work closely with Underwriting and Products teams to provide feedback on claims issues/trends and product/wording development
  • Liaise with Finance, IT and other internal teams while complying with FCA and Lloyd’s legal and statutory requirements

Requirements

  • Experience in cyber and technology claims
  • Ability to proactively handle cyber and technology claims from first notification of loss to settlement within delegated authorities
  • Experience working with incident response vendors (forensic, legal, PR)
  • Ability to foster strong relationships with policyholders, brokers, underwriters and capacity providers
  • Experience with prompt and accurate reserving, identifying and pursuing third party recoveries and reducing claims leakage
  • Experience working with Underwriting, Finance, IT and Products teams and providing feedback on claims issues/trends
  • Conscientious and hardworking claims professional
