About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop, lead, and deliver employee enrollment and education meetings for retirement plan clients and employees
- Set and drive education programs for 401(k), 403(b), and DB cash balance plans
- Build and maintain relationships with plan sponsors and financial professionals
- Serve as liaison between recordkeepers, third-party administrators, financial professionals, and the home office
- Plan and conduct enrollment and education meetings on-site and virtually
- Prepare education programs and collateral
- Drive plan participation and contributions through participant education solutions
- Stay current with retirement plan rules and regulations
- Differentiate Cetera’s retirement plan solutions to drive client retention
- Assist the sales team with new business opportunities
- Cross-sell Cetera solutions and services
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 3 years’ experience in the financial services industry
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant course of study required, or relevant experience
- Knowledge of IRS and DOL regulations relating to qualified retirement plans
- FINRA Series 65 or 66 licensing, or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment
- Client Relationship Management (CRM) software experience
- Ability to speak confidently in front of large groups and in one-on-one settings
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 50%
