About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Conduct energy audits of existing homes
Use software, quantify savings, and produce reports documenting recommendations, including building electrification opportunities
Provide excellent customer service during and after the audit
Listening to customers to understand their needs and motivations
Answer customer questions clearly
Follow up with customers as needed
Ensure that recommendations comply with program requirements for incentives and rebates
Conduct combustion safety and other diagnostic tests
Analyze usage data

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least 1 year of experience working in energy efficiency
BPI certification preferred
Strong math skills with excellent understanding of geometry
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Familiarity with various utility program offerings and analyzing usage patterns
Experience with Salesforce, Microsoft Office, and modeling software preferred
Ability to work independently in a field-based position while successfully meeting program deliverables and expectations
Must be able to work in a collaborative team-based environment
Must be able to pass a drug test and background check before the hire date
Must have access to a reliable vehicle for work-related travel, maintain a valid driver’s license, and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.
