About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct energy audits of existing homes
- Use software, quantify savings, and produce reports documenting recommendations, including building electrification opportunities
- Provide excellent customer service during and after the audit
- Listening to customers to understand their needs and motivations
- Answer customer questions clearly
- Follow up with customers as needed
- Ensure that recommendations comply with program requirements for incentives and rebates
- Conduct combustion safety and other diagnostic tests
- Analyze usage data
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 1 year of experience working in energy efficiency
- BPI certification preferred
- Strong math skills with excellent understanding of geometry
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with various utility program offerings and analyzing usage patterns
- Experience with Salesforce, Microsoft Office, and modeling software preferred
- Ability to work independently in a field-based position while successfully meeting program deliverables and expectations
- Must be able to work in a collaborative team-based environment
- Must be able to pass a drug test and background check before the hire date
- Must have access to a reliable vehicle for work-related travel, maintain a valid driver’s license, and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.
