About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, build, and maintain software applications and automation systems that improve workflow efficiency.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and architects to develop scalable, secure, and well-documented solutions.
- Develop integrations with APIs, databases, and third-party platforms to extend system functionality.
- Participate in the design and integration of data pipelines, analytics tools, and AI-driven solutions.
- Contribute to project planning, testing, and deployment of enterprise applications.
- Ensure compliance with company coding standards and data security practices.
- Identify opportunities to streamline manual processes through scripting, APIs, and system orchestration.
- Support enterprise application lifecycle including design, testing, deployment, and documentation.
- Support data flow and interoperability between core business systems.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Architecture, or Engineering, or equivalent experience is required.
- Minimum of 2–5 years of experience in software or automation development in an enterprise or AEC environment is required.
- Proven experience developing Autodesk plugins is preferred.
- Proficiency in one or more of the following: C#, Python, JavaScript, React, Node.js, REST APIs, or SQL.
- Experience with AI or cloud-based workflows using Azure AI, AWS AI Services, or equivalent technologies is preferred.
- Familiarity with cloud data storage environments such as Azure Blob Storage, AWS S3, or data lakes is advantageous.
- Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Dynamo is preferred.
- Relevant certifications from Microsoft, GitHub, AutoDesk, or similar platforms are preferred.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have relevant software application certifications and/or advanced training.
- Working knowledge of programming languages, operating systems and technologies.
- Ability to implement complex system design activities.
- Perform multiple tasks concurrently and respond to emergency situations effectively.
