About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for the day-to-day leadership and operational performance of the branch.
- Oversee warehouse operations, delivery logistics, and inside sales teams.
- Partnering closely with the regional sales organization to support customer growth and account development.
- Drive profitable sales growth through strategic planning and execution.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with electrical contractors, industrial customers, OEMs, and other stakeholders.
- Conduct coaching, performance evaluations and pay recommendations.
- Ensure all positions are staffed by qualified and trained personnel.
- Collaborate on product promotions, training, and inventory strategy.
- Analyze performance metrics and implement corrective actions where needed.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, supply chain, or related field preferred—but equivalent industry experience is highly valued.
- 5+ years of experience in electrical wholesale distribution or related industry.
- Prior leadership or branch management experience strongly preferred.
- Experience working within ISO-compliant environments, including adherence to documented standards, audit readiness, and continuous improvement processes.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Ability obtain and maintain forklift certification.
- Ability to obtain DOT Medical Certificate may be required in some locations.
