About the role
- Reporting to the Director, Academic Affairs and Administrative Support for Researchers, you will manage the continuous improvement and development of MonMila, the centralized web platform that manages student information.
- You will act both as a strategic product manager and as a low-code technical developer for the platform.
- You will oversee the full product lifecycle, including requirements gathering and roadmap definition, through to hands-on coding and deployment.
- Coordinate daily communications and consultations with stakeholders and the vendor.
- Manage the product backlog.
- Translate complex needs into clear, actionable user stories.
- Design, build, and maintain custom modules, forms, and workflows using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least five years of experience in a similar role with a technical focus and programming/development responsibilities.
- Proven experience administering a low-code platform or a content management system (CMS). Previous experience with the in1touch system is a major asset.
- Experience working in a higher-education or research environment is an additional asset.
- **Technical skills**
- Strong knowledge of HTML (Bootstrap 5), CSS, and JavaScript (jQuery) is required for customizing front-end and back-end user interfaces.
- Proficiency in SQL and an understanding of relational database management systems (RDBMS).
- Ability to understand and debug API integrations (REST, JSON, CSV) is an asset.
