About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform initial triage of security alerts generated by tools such as SIEM, EDR, Antivirus, and Firewalls;
  • Monitor security events and identify suspicious behavior, anomalies, or potential incidents;
  • Investigate and analyze alerts to distinguish false positives from real threats;
  • Escalate relevant incidents and occurrences to more advanced levels of the Security team;
  • Support the execution of periodic vulnerability scans on servers, applications, devices, and corporate environments;
  • Organize, track, and prioritize vulnerability reports, contributing to the remediation process with Technology teams;
  • Assist in monitoring the application of security patches (patch management);
  • Support information security awareness initiatives, including educational campaigns and phishing simulations;
  • Contribute to the creation and updating of operational procedures, playbooks, incident records, and technical documentation;
  • Participate in projects and initiatives aimed at the continuous improvement of the organization’s security posture.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree completed or in progress in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Networks, Computer Engineering, or related fields;
  • Basic knowledge of Computer Networks, including the OSI model, TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, HTTPS, and communication ports;
  • Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems;
  • Basic command-line skills (PowerShell, CMD, or Linux Terminal);
  • Understanding of fundamental Information Security concepts;
  • Basic knowledge of security tools such as Firewalls, Antivirus, EDR, and SIEM;
  • Knowledge of major attack vectors and cyber threats, including Phishing, Malware, Ransomware, Social Engineering, and web application attacks;
  • Good analytical ability, organizational skills, and a willingness to learn.
