About the role

  • Assist in carrying out statutory inspections of lifting and safety equipment within wind turbines
  • Support inspections in accordance with LOLER, PUWER and PSSR regulations
  • Conduct testing and inspection of equipment using specialist tools and instruments
  • Accurately document inspection results and produce reports
  • Work both independently and as part of a team on wind energy sites across the UK and Europe
  • Maintain high standards of health, safety and compliance in all working environments

Requirements

  • Minimum age: 18 years old
  • Mechanical or Electrical Engineering college training background (essential)
  • Minimum GCSE Grade 4/5 above in Maths & English
  • Full UK Driving License
  • Understanding of inspection processes on wind turbine equipment (Desirable but Not Essential)
  • Knowledge of LOLER, PUWER and PSSR regulations (Desirable but Not Essential)
  • Strong awareness of Health & Safety practices (Desirable but Not Essential)
  • Understanding of the risk assessment process (Desirable but Not Essential)
