About the role
- Assist in carrying out Statutory inspections of lifting and safety equipment within Workshop and Onsite.
- Support inspections in accordance with LOLER, PUWER regulations.
- Conduct testing and inspection of equipment using specialist tools and instruments.
- Accurately document inspection results and produce reports.
- Work both independently and as part of a team on sites across the UK and Europe.
- Maintain high standards of health, safety and compliance in all working environments.
- General rigging and slinging duties.
- Manufacturing of steel wire rope slings.
- Testing of lifting equipment.
- General labour support and delivery driving.
Requirements
- Minimum age: 18 years old
- Mechanical or Electrical Engineering college training background (essential)
- Minimum GCSE Grade 4/5 above in Maths & English
- Full UK Driving License
- All Offshore Certifications will be provided as part of the role.
- Mechanical experience is essential.
- Knowledge of LOLER, PUWER regulations (Desirable but Not Essential)
- Strong awareness of Health & Safety practices
- Understanding of the risk assessment process
