About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and foster positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Ensure proactive timely resolution of staff, Contractor, Vendor, and Consultant performance issues
Professionally and courteously handle all Resident inquiries, feedback, complaints or concerns, and escalate any issues to the Property Manager
Ensure a high level of Resident satisfaction
Operate properties consistent with management contract and approved budgets
Ensure adherence to policies and procedures; motivate and develop site staff
Authorize and review Work Orders and Purchase Orders
Review and approve invoices and new leases
Ensure timely collection of rent; initiate legal actions as required
Conduct regular site inspections and complete required reporting
Assist with sales and marketing initiatives
Ensure compliance with legislation and maintain risk management

Requirements

What you’ll need

Post-secondary degree/diploma in accounting or related field
A passion for excellence in customer service delivery
Minimum 2 years’ property management experience is required
Exceptional written and oral communication skills
Excellent organizational skills with a strong ability to multi-task
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong command of MS Office products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Detail-oriented; able to resolve problems using facts, sound reasoning and common sense
Forward thinking with an ability to develop creative strategic solutions to issues
Strong follow-up skills with the ability to effectively resolve difficult issues in a timely manner
Experience with Yardi property management systems considered an asset
