About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the full sales lifecycle, from opportunity creation through to deal closure
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned to key Enterprise and I&C segments
- Build, manage, and convert a strong pipeline of high-value opportunities
- Apply structured sales methodologies (e.g. Miller Heiman ) to win complex deals
- Represent Centrica Business at industry events, strengthening market presence and partnerships
- Provide market insight and competitor intelligence to inform strategy and positioning
- Maintain robust pipeline management and forecasting via Salesforce CRM
- Play a key leadership role across bids, governance, and commercial processes
- Build long-term, value-based relationships with key clients and stakeholders
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven experience in new business development and strategic sales
- Strong background in decarbonisation solutions (solar, CHP, heat pumps, etc.)
- Demonstrable success in closing complex, high-value deals
- Deep understanding of UKI energy markets and Net Zero landscape
- Experience with commercial and financial modelling (IRR, NPV, margin structures)
- Knowledge of energy solutions financing models (e.g. PPA, EaaS)
