About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Monitor the patient call back clinical phone line; notify appropriate clinician regarding patient needs and issues.
  • Make initial phone contacts with patients requiring clinical visits.
  • Work closely with clinical staff in obtaining required documentation in a timely manner; including DocuSign
  • Schedule appointments for clinical visits/virtual visits; create and close routes assigned to clinicians
  • Assist the clinical staff with patient follow-up phone calls and complete the needed clinical notes in the computer.
  • As appropriate, act as liaison between the customer service department and the clinical staff.
  • Assist patients with basic CPAP/VPAP troubleshooting
  • Direct patients to appropriate departments with concerns
  • Review compliance with patients and instruct with guidelines to meet insurance compliance requirements
  • Other job-related duties as requested by management.; including special projects to identify areas of process improvement.
  • Business Office Associate assists with in-person translation (Spanish to English) for the clinical team (home visits) to elevate patient compliance of usage and elevate patient experience.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma; college degree preferred
  • Previous education and/or work experience in the healthcare field preferred.
  • Bilingual(Spanish/English)
