- Act as the bridge between business stakeholders, technical teams, and delivery teams.
- Gather, analyse, and document business and technical requirements.
- Ensure solutions are aligned with business outcomes and CT/Customers architectural standards.
- Work with developers, solution architects, and project managers throughout the delivery cycle.
- Track requirements and business benefits from gathering and agreement through delivery cycle and sprints to final show cases.
Requirements
- Engage stakeholders to gather, clarify, and document business and technical requirements.
- Analyse business processes and translate them into technical specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate with clients, developers, architects, and engineers throughout the SDLC to validate solutions and ensure feasibility.
- Prepare tender packs with functional and technical requirements, supporting artefacts (e.g.,architecture diagrams, current/future state documentation) and assist with vendor technical Q&A and evaluations
- Produce key artefacts such as process maps, gap analysis, data flows, sequence diagrams, and system/interface specifications.
- Ensure requirements traceability and support delivery across Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Work with QA and business stakeholders on acceptance criteria, testing, and UAT.
- Facilitate workshops, meetings, and walkthroughs to align stakeholders and drive consensus.
- Perform system and data analysis, including APIs, integration points, data mapping, and transformation activities.
- Present findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and business audiences.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Systems, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Professional certifications (e.g., CBAP, CCBA, Agile BA, Scrum Master) desirable.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst with a technical focus in IT projects and/or software development.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or equivalent.
- Proficiency in documenting processes (BPMN, UML, flowcharts, data models).
- Experience with APIs, integrations, and system interoperability.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Background in software engineering, data analysis, or system administration.
- Experience in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
- Familiarity with SQL or other query languages
