About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Consult with patients, pharmacies, and providers to provide optimal medication therapy
Educate members about the proper use and purpose of medications
Respond to members’ prescription, over-the-counter medication, and pharmacotherapy-related health questions via telephone and web chat
Encourage safe, accurate, and timely medication use
Resolve medication-related issues, including prior authorization requirements, formulary alternatives, and medication access concerns
Accurately record member interactions and recommendations for continuity of care and regulatory compliance
Participate in training or meetings requiring occasional travel to Humana offices

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree
Active license with the Board of Pharmacy in the appropriate state
Ability to participate in Federal prescription programs
Ability to solve problems and encourage collaborative problem solving
Focused, accurate, and highly productive work ethic
Computer proficiency
Passion for continuously improving consumer experiences
