About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Consult with patients, pharmacies, and providers to provide optimal medication therapy
- Educate members about the proper use and purpose of medications
- Respond to members’ prescription, over-the-counter medication, and pharmacotherapy-related health questions via telephone and web chat
- Encourage safe, accurate, and timely medication use
- Resolve medication-related issues, including prior authorization requirements, formulary alternatives, and medication access concerns
- Accurately record member interactions and recommendations for continuity of care and regulatory compliance
- Participate in training or meetings requiring occasional travel to Humana offices
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree
- Active license with the Board of Pharmacy in the appropriate state
- Ability to participate in Federal prescription programs
- Ability to solve problems and encourage collaborative problem solving
- Focused, accurate, and highly productive work ethic
- Computer proficiency
- Passion for continuously improving consumer experiences
- Minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and upload speed of 10 Mbps for home internet
