About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as the first contact for patient care
Perform administrative tasks in addition to patient care
Document patient symptoms in the EMR
Take and record vital signs
Administer injections
Perform diagnostic tests
Collect specimens and draw blood
Sterilize equipment
Maintain examination rooms
Perform computations and moderately complex administrative, operational, and customer-support assignments
Report to the Center Administrator
Perform other tasks as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

Successful completion of an MA school/training program, or be a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant, or have 5+ years of experience with Provider approval
Must be bilingual in English and Spanish
Phlebotomy experience
Medication/vaccine administration experience
CPR certification
Ability to complete tuberculosis screening
Certified or Registered preferred
Value Based Care experience preferred, including knowledge of HEDIS, CPT/ICD coding, and CAHPS/HOS Patient Experience
