About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- The Senior Pharmacy Sales Executive (Specialty) uses targeted geographic analysis, engages with Physician offices to influence key decision makers to route patients' specialty drug prescriptions to CenterWell Specialty Pharmacy for fulfillment.
- Focus on increasing orders to CenterWell Specialty Pharmacy, resulting in increased prescriptions and revenue.
- Work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
- Make decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding the technical approach for project components.
- Perform work without direction and exercise considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.
- Build relationships with front and back-office staff by conducting sales calls within the territory.
- Provide staff education and information on options for patient use of Specialty Pharmacy medications.
- Become a knowledgeable resource regarding specialty pharmacy medications and Humana pharmacy benefits.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Candidates must reside in or be within commuting distance of Northern Illinois, through Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and up to Green Bay, Wisconsin, or be willing to relocate to the area at their own expense.
- Previous sales experience with documented success of meeting/exceeding goals.
- Experience analyzing sales data and market trends to make effective decisions.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Suite applications specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience establishing communication and engagement with prospects.
- Demonstrate adaptability and a collaborative, team-oriented approach in dynamic environments.
- Proven ability to establish, cultivate, and maintain strong relationships across partnering business segments to support organizational goals.
- Must be comfortable with being in the field 5 days/week within territory lines, and occasional overnight travel.
- This role is part of Humana's Fleet Driver safety program and therefore requires an individual to take possession of a company fleet vehicle and have a valid state driver's license.
