About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Assess/screen patient's daily living/work-related skills and develop therapeutic retraining programs
Administer and interpret diagnostic and prognostic tests to patients
Confer with physician and other health care team members to develop/revision Plan of Care Treatment
Provide therapeutic treatment and instruction to patients
Consult with vocational team members to develop vocationally oriented plans
Report patient status and progress to the physician and others
Participate in care coordination and discharge planning activities
Design community reintegration activities
Recommend design special adaptive equipment for clients
Supervise, instruct and evaluate Occupational Therapy Assistant and Home Health Aide
Document patients' care observations accurately
Ensure interim orders from the physician are documented

Requirements

What you’ll need

Current and unrestricted OT licensure
Current CPR certification
Valid driver's license, auto insurance and reliable transportation
Minimum six months of occupational therapy experience
