Key responsibilities & impact

Administer the physical therapy treatment plan to patients
Work onsite in patients' homes
Administer therapeutic exercises, therapeutic massage, traction heat, light, cold, water, and electrical modalities
Document client records and submit clinical documentation
Attend educational meetings and coordinate department in-services
Notify Physical Therapist or Branch Director of equipment failures or supply shortages
Apply concepts of infection control and universal precautions

Requirements

What you’ll need

Current state license to practice Physical Therapy
Valid driver's license, auto insurance and reliable transportation
Current CPR certification
Experience collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals
Comprehensive knowledge of the physical, emotional, social, and biological changes that occur in the geriatric population
Read, write, and speak fluent English
