About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Providing brief clinical screenings, risk assessments, safety planning, crisis intervention, and appropriate service linkage for individuals experiencing acute mental health crises
Conducting outreach calls to individuals assessed by mobile crisis to promote safety
Meeting ethical and clinical standards in compliance with all accreditation
Attending team meetings, in-service training, supervision, and other quality assurance training
Demonstrating high-level customer service skills and professional etiquette
Providing service linkage and referrals for programs, services, and other community resources
Promoting a departmental culture of cooperation and collaboration with other cross-functional departments, community agencies, hospitals, mental health consumers, and the public at large

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree in Behavioral Science, Psychology, Social Work, or related field or Certified Peer Recovery Specialist required
One year preferred
