About the role
- Lead architectural design for new data centers, expansions, retrofits, and mission-critical facilities
- Develop concept designs, floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction documents (CDs)
- Coordinate closely with MEP, structural, civil, and security teams to ensure seamless integration of critical systems
- Conduct field visits to verify construction progress and adherence to architectural intent
- Provide guidance on material selection, sustainability, and energy-efficient designs
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture
- Registered Architect (RA) license in at least one U.S. state (NCARB certificate preferred)
- 5–10+ years of architectural design experience
- Minimum 2–3 years of data center or mission-critical facility design
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, BIM workflows, and architectural visualization tools
- Strong understanding of data center floor planning and equipment layout
- Familiarity with building codes (IBC, NEC, NFPA, ASHRAE)
- Ability to interpret and coordinate MEP and structural drawings
