About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Establish, develop and maintain customer relationships for Centerline Logistics Corporation and all subsidiary companies.
Assist in demurrage calculations.
Assist in contract admin.
Ensure on hire and off hire times are accurate and timely.
Ad Hoc reporting and operational research.
Develop and maintain reports to track planned and unplanned service disruptions, and utilization.
Assist in tracking and maintaining maintenance banks.
Work closely with Commercial, Dispatch, Operations, and Accounting departments as needed to ensure efficient communication and company wide objectives are met.
Performs related duties as assigned.

Requirements

What you’ll need

A bachelor's degree in a related field preferred, but not required.
1-3 years of Maritime Experience Preferred.
Must have some knowledge of the marine petroleum transportation industry.
Must be able to develop and maintain professional relationships.
Demonstrated problem solving and negotiation skills.
Experience with maritime associations and sales preferred.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Experience and knowledge in petroleum transport and logistics, terminal transfers, and bunkering.
Must be able to read, speak, write, type, and understand English in person and over telephone.
Considerable knowledge of principles and practices of customer relations, effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced office setting and be capable of handling multiple projects with firm deadlines.
Ability to deal with others using courtesy, tact, and good judgment.
Maintain the confidentiality of all sensitive communications.
Ability to understand and execute complex oral and written instructions.
Computer skills that include, but not limited to: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and typing of a minimum of 60 words per minute.
Ability to work with office staff, customers and vessel crew members.
Valid driver's license.
