About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serves as a trusted strategic advisor to executive and senior leadership
- Owns all internal communications across Nemours Children’s Health
- Drives the translation of Nemours Children’s brand narrative and strategic priorities
- Partners with other communications teams for integrated campaigns
- Oversees the strategy, governance, and performance of associate-facing communications channels
- Serves as a communications partner to executive leaders for internal communications
- Provides senior-level strategic communications counsel and planning
- Establishes and maintains operational foundations of internal communications
- Leads, develops, motivates, and manages a high-performing communications team
- Coordinates and manages the internal communications budget
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Communications or a related field required
- 12 to 15 years of progressive communications experience
- Demonstrated experience advising C-suite and senior leaders on communications strategy and content
- Track record of building and managing high-performing teams
- Healthcare, nonprofit, or mission-driven sector experience in a corporate setting strongly preferred
