Imaging Informatics Associate Analyst – Cardiology
Center for Health Care StrategiesImaging Informatics Associate Analyst providing support for PACS, DICOM, and clinical applications at Nemours. Engaging in custom configuration and optimizing workflows for end users.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide direct support to end users in the efficient and accurate utilization of IS Imaging Informatics applications and the electronic medical record as it relates to imaging.
- Participate in building, testing and validating of new functionality and engaging in custom configuration activities.
- Perform in-depth analyses of workflows, data collection, report details and other technical issues associated with clinical applications.
- Recognize opportunities for process improvement and optimization activities designed to create more knowledgeable end users.
- Act as a change agent, educator and resource in advancing the strategic mission of Nemours, while advancing knowledge and avoidance of data and systems integrity risks.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Associate's Degree required with a minimum of 1 year of related experience preferred. 3 years of experience required in lieu of degree with active enrollment in pursuit of degree demonstrated within the first 90-days of hire. Must obtain Associate's Degree or higher within three years of hire into role.
- Minimum 1 year experience in a clinical setting, preferred.
- Prior Nursing, Clinical experience, or Healthcare Operation experience, preferred.
- If an RN, must maintain current RN license.
- Achieve and maintain one or more application specific certification in accordance with vendor requirements required.
- Certified Imaging Informatics Professional (CIIP) preferred.
- Travel required as needed.

- Provide site specific, on call support and first line support to end users with the goal of enhancing and elevating proficiency in the use of IS imaging informatics applications and the electronic medical record as it relates to imaging.
- Conduct clinical workflow analysis and assess the need for workflow redesign and process improvement.
- Assist in configuring clinical applications to meet the requirements of clinical departments while maintaining and promoting enterprise standards for the electronic environment.
- Provide support of the Teleradiology program including project scoping, implementation, and daily management of issues, updates and enhancements.
- Participate in the evaluation, testing and validation of new release and upgrade functionality.
- Develop project management skills and utilize project management methodology in daily work to ensure achievement of project goals.
- Facilitate change and employ change management methods in advancing innovation, technology and decision support.
- Respond to assigned Service Now tickets within the defined timeframes.
