Leave of Absence Analyst
Center for Health Care StrategiesLeave of Absence Analyst supporting internal and external partners on leave processes. Coordinating accommodations under applicable laws and ensuring compliance with state leave laws.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- The Leave of Absence (LOA) Analysis is a subject matter expert who provides support for internal and external partners on leave of absence and accommodation processes.
- Resolve escalated leave situations and lead the interactive process to find reasonable accommodations under the ADA or other applicable laws.
- Lead return to work efforts to get associates back to work at the earliest appropriate time consistent with an individual's strengths, abilities, capabilities, and limitations.
- Serve as a liaison with the third-party leave administrator and Occupational Health and Safety Officer to coordinate work accommodations for workers compensation cases.
- Run reports and provide insights throughout data analytics, ensuring accurate and timely reporting to support business decisions.
- Maintain and update the Nemours SharePoint site with all applicable leave of absence information.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelors degree required
- Certified Leave Management Specialist (CLMS) certification upon hire or within 90 days
- Minimum 5 years of experience to include the coordination and administration of various leaves, FMLA, ADA, Workers’ Compensation, and accommodation requests required.
- Working knowledge of multi-state leave of absence laws and regulations.
