About the role

  • The Leave of Absence (LOA) Analysis is a subject matter expert who provides support for internal and external partners on leave of absence and accommodation processes.
  • Resolve escalated leave situations and lead the interactive process to find reasonable accommodations under the ADA or other applicable laws.
  • Lead return to work efforts to get associates back to work at the earliest appropriate time consistent with an individual's strengths, abilities, capabilities, and limitations.
  • Serve as a liaison with the third-party leave administrator and Occupational Health and Safety Officer to coordinate work accommodations for workers compensation cases.
  • Run reports and provide insights throughout data analytics, ensuring accurate and timely reporting to support business decisions.
  • Maintain and update the Nemours SharePoint site with all applicable leave of absence information.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree required
  • Certified Leave Management Specialist (CLMS) certification upon hire or within 90 days
  • Minimum 5 years of experience to include the coordination and administration of various leaves, FMLA, ADA, Workers’ Compensation, and accommodation requests required.
  • Working knowledge of multi-state leave of absence laws and regulations.
