About the role
- Provide Epic support for lab operations and clinical stakeholders.
- Support workflows and help develop lab application strategies for the Nemours enterprise.
- Provide direct support to end users in utilizing LHI&T applications and electronic medical records.
- Participate in building, testing and validating new functionality.
- Engage in custom configuration activities and perform in-depth analyses of workflows, data collection, and other technical issues.
- Recognize opportunities for process improvement and optimization activities.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree required.
- Equivalent work experience may be considered for internal candidates in lieu of education requirements.
- Minimum of one (1) to three (3) years' experience required.
- Minimum of one (1) year experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Prior Laboratory clinical experience, Healthcare Operation or IT experience required.
- If ASCP Certified MLS must maintain certification.
- Achieve and maintain one or more application specific certifications in accordance with vendor requirements required. Qualification in Epic module as required to support the application is required after hire.
- Strong software and application knowledge.
- Project Management experience preferred.
