About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Conduct comprehensive psychiatric and substance use assessments across the lifespan.
Diagnose and treat mental health and substance use disorders using evidence-based practices.
Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications and medications for opioid use disorder (MOUD).
Monitor treatment effectiveness, safety, adherence, and side effects.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2, DEA regulations, and Colorado PDMP requirements.

Requirements

What you’ll need

MD or DO with experience in Psychiatry OR
PMHNP with national certification and prescriptive authority
Active Colorado license in good standing (DORA)
DEA registration and prescriptive authority required
DATA waiver (if applicable) or willingness to obtain MOUD prescribing competency
Minimum 3 years post-licensure psychiatric prescribing experience
