Responsible for understanding user needs and optimizing the user experience within NextGen
Focuses on improving efficiency and client care
Conducts research and gathers feedback from end-users (clinicians, staff)
Analyzes existing workflows and identifies areas for improvement
Configures and customizes the NextGen system
Conducts usability testing to evaluate the effectiveness of the system
Develops and delivers training materials and support documentation
Acts as a bridge between clinical staff and development
Monitors data and analyzes the system for performance issues
Communicates process changes to management and staff
Prioritizes user-friendliness in user interface design
Adheres to HIPAA regulations by implementing data security measures
Coordinates, develops, tests, implements, and maintains system upgrades
Assists in managing patients' health information and medical records

Requirements

Associate’s degree or higher – preferred
Minimum 2 to 4 years of experience developing within Electronic Health Records, Healthcare, SQL, Python, JavaScript, and agile development process.
