Manage and execute media and public relations efforts for Corporate products, regional health plans and other subsidiaries
Provide proactive media, public relations and crisis communications
Provide strategic communication counsel and guidance to subsidiaries within assigned regions
Oversee Public Relations for Markets and Product subsidiaries
Oversee review and approval process between subsidiaries and corporate senior management for public relations activities
Monitor and analyze Centene, industry and competitive trends and recommend and implement action plans
Oversee Corporate Public Relations efforts related to national programs, M&A activities and business development activities
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field
Master's degree preferred
6+ years of experience in media relations, public relations, or communications
Experience working in a managed care, insurance, or healthcare environment preferred
