About the role

  • Plans and oversees the configuration of software and infrastructure services on the cloud platform
  • Manages cloud infrastructure as code
  • Automates deployment and administration
  • Ensures security of cloud components
  • Collaborates with the DevOps team to manage and lead upgrades, enhancements, and software migrations
  • Develops and executes code-based CI/CD deployment plans for new and existing infrastructure
  • Develops and implements monitoring solutions for cloud environments
  • Builds and maintains capacity plans
  • Develops and implements technical efforts for cloud applications
  • Delivers continuous integration and delivery pipeline and standards

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science)
  • Requires 4 – 6 years of related experience
  • Experience with Cloud Formation, Terraform or Cloud Deployment Manager
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services; Ansible
  • Experience with programming languages such as Java, C, Scala, Python, Erlang, Docker, Swarm, Kubernetes, Cloud Foundry, etc.
  • Knowledge of networking and firewall concepts and troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of automation languages such as Shell Scripting, Python, Golang, etc.
