About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support and help drive Leo Cancer Care’s research ecosystem
Coordinate research project planning, tracking, milestones, and deliverables across a broad portfolio
Liaise with clinicians, academics, students, charity partners, and patient representatives
Arrange research agreements, visits, meetings, and study logistics
Coordinate grant application inputs, submission deadlines, drafting, and formatting
Organise workshops, seminars, and newsletters
Coordinate speakers and manage research event logistics
Manage websites and mailing lists for research consortia
Keep research partners informed and engaged

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree plus around 5 years of relevant work experience, or a Masters degree plus around 3 years of relevant work experience
Experience coordinating multi-stakeholder projects, ideally across different organisations or institutions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to engage confidently with senior clinicians, industry partners, professors, students, and other stakeholders
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
Collaborative, proactive mindset
Ability to quickly understand research needs across different radiotherapy projects
Willingness to travel internationally occasionally, up to a couple of times per year
Experience in a radiotherapy research or teaching environment preferred
Relevant postgraduate degree(s) preferred
Strong analytical skills for data interpretation and presentation preferred
Experience writing for academic and general-public audiences preferred
Formal project management training or certification, such as Prince2 or Agile/Scrum, preferred
