About the role
- Develop plans to recognize and secure takeaway prospects for significant digital adoptions
- Develop pre-sales presentations to highlight and position our digital products
- Consult with customers and Account Executives to deliver impactful presentations and digital demonstrations
- Work closely on implementation planning, training, and support needs, coordinating with our Customer Success team
- Develop usage growth strategies and track usage with the Customer Success organization
- Share valuable customer feedback with internal partners to support continuous improvement efforts
- Cultivate and maintain connections with essential Department Chairs, Deans, and IT administrators to pinpoint and secure business prospects
- Harness champions from ongoing significant digital adoptions to jointly present and offer peer support
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of successful direct sales, marketing, or related experience with a bachelor’s degree; or 8 years without a degree
- Proven understanding of technology and experience with digital products, particularly in the Higher Education sector
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other instructional technology
- Outstanding oral and written communication abilities for virtual and in-person environments
- Ability to deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations
- Strong customer orientation and relationship-building skills
- Collaborative problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
- Flexibility to be on campus at least 50% of the time, including local and overnight travel
- Must be located within the assigned sales territory
