About the role

  • Implement data extraction processes from the company's various sources, defining architecture and storage mechanisms.
  • Execute, manage and maintain tools for ingesting, processing, and modeling large volumes of data.
  • Identify and implement improvements in internal processes, data platforms, and storage systems.
  • Design, establish, and document methodologies for data usage, publishing, and handling.
  • Capture essential data to support different areas with relevant performance information and to aid decision-making.
  • Ensure the functionality and operational continuity of the data systems and platforms under your responsibility.
  • Contribute improvements and recommendations related to data quality and data flow between teams.
  • Perform maintenance on data processing systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree completed or currently pursuing in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields.
  • Knowledge of Data Lake infrastructures such as Spark, Cosmos DB, and Hadoop.
  • Experience with data extraction tools, programming, report development, and/or data analysis.
  • Knowledge of Cloud services is desirable (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP).
