About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Operate wheel loaders, dump trucks, water trucks, forklifts, Bobcats, and sweepers.
  • Load, transport, and stack raw materials using reclaimers and loaders.
  • Train as a Production Assistant and assist with unloading and raw material prep.
  • Maintain plant cleanliness with hand tools and assist in equipment cleaning.
  • Follow all safety rules, use PPE, and exceed company safety expectations.
  • Complete any additional tasks assigned by supervisors.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • MSHA certification (or ability to obtain)
  • Previous cement plant or heavy equipment operation experience preferred
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to operate multiple systems and vehicles
  • Basic math, reading, and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to read tape measures and use hand tools.
