About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Operate wheel loaders, dump trucks, water trucks, forklifts, Bobcats, and sweepers.
- Load, transport, and stack raw materials using reclaimers and loaders.
- Train as a Production Assistant and assist with unloading and raw material prep.
- Maintain plant cleanliness with hand tools and assist in equipment cleaning.
- Follow all safety rules, use PPE, and exceed company safety expectations.
- Complete any additional tasks assigned by supervisors.
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- MSHA certification (or ability to obtain)
- Previous cement plant or heavy equipment operation experience preferred
- Mechanical aptitude
- Ability to operate multiple systems and vehicles
- Basic math, reading, and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read tape measures and use hand tools.
