As a Principal Value Engineer within our Energy team, you are spearheading our mission of data-driven business transformation with our customers.
Work in partnership with the Celonis Sales Teams and have full responsibility for the end-to-end value journey of our customers.
Act as our customers' trusted advisor and help them achieve their strategic goals and realize significant value using Celonis Process Intelligence Platform.
Drive measurable business impact across various processes and industries and accelerate the adoption of our platform.
Blend deep process and industry expertise with a proven consulting skill set with strong analytical skills.
Requirements
Live for Customer Value: Min 12. years experience in an analytical role with the objective to demonstrate or secure value through business data analysis, business process improvement and/or respective Software deployment. Ideally in a customer-facing role with a Consultancy or Business Software / SaaS Provider. Alternatively in an Inhouse role (e.g. Center of Excellence for Data Mining / Analytics / Intelligence) within an Enterprise.
Value Selling & Executive Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication and presentation skills. Experienced in preparing and communicating roadmaps and results to stakeholders. Sales acumen, sovereign and winning appearance.
Data, AI, Analytics, Applications & IT: Good knowledge of Business Software / SaaS applications (e.g. SAP), experience with implementing AI agents (IBM Watson Orchestrate, Amazon Bedrock, Microsoft Copilot, Salesforce Agentforce), RPA or BI Tools or building Dashboards or Apps /Action Flows. Knowledge of Python and/or SQL. Experience in collaborating with IT teams.
Builder Mentality: Passion for experimenting with technology and creating new models to address new use cases and realize value.
Process Improvement & Value Realization: Experience in identifying use cases for business process improvement and deploying improvement measures, being a change agent and training users/process owners to realize value.
Project Management: Experience in planning and managing project scopes, expectations and timelines.
Business Domain Expertise: Good understanding of the Finance and/or Supply Chain function and/or strategic transformation initiatives (e.g. Shared Services Transformation or System Transformation).
Industry Expertise: You have advanced industry expertise and a proven ability to develop a deep understanding of industry trends and strategic opportunities of the C-Suite and build an integrated Celonis Process Intelligence roadmap.
Degree: in Industrial/Business Engineering, Technology and/or Management, Informatics, Mathematics or similar.
Travel: ability to travel mainly domestic up to 35%.
