About the role
- Manage and maintain the Salesforce platform, ensuring optimal performance and security
- Manage Salesforce users, profiles, permission sets, and other admin tasks
- Develop and deliver training materials and sessions for new and existing users to enhance their Salesforce proficiency
- Perform regular data management tasks, such as data imports, data cleanup, and duplicate record management for Sales, Marketing, and Client Success
- Create and manage reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights to stakeholders
- Communicate with cross functional stakeholders and end users from Revenue Operations, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Client Success to groom requirements and conduct root cause analysis
- Provide support to end-users, including troubleshooting issues and resolving technical challenges
- Work with management and Subject Matter Experts to validate, design and implement solutions in Salesforce
- Configure and customize Salesforce applications (custom objects, fields, page layouts, workflows, validation rules) and design/implement automation using Flow
- Manage relationship with external implementation specialist to design and develop robust Salesforce solutions
- Collaborate with the IT team to integrate Salesforce with other business systems and applications
- Monitor and analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement; test system enhancements and perform quality assurance
- Document changes to CellCarta’s Salesforce instance and ensure backups are performed
- Stay updated on new Salesforce features and implement them across tools as needed
- Participate in special projects and initiatives at management’s discretion
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, life sciences, or equivalent
- More than 3 years as a customer relationship management (CRM) system administrator, preferably with experience in more than one instance
- Extensive knowledge of Salesforce Lightning Experience
- Able to understand and troubleshoot Salesforce
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce functionality and limitations
- Salesforce Administrator certification
- Salesforce Developer certification and Business Analyst certification preferred but not mandatory
- Knowledge of Pardot, Mulesoft, PowerBI preferred but not mandatory
- Experience managing multiple projects, from gathering requirements to rolling out solutions
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
- Motivated self-starter, independent and a team player focused on excellence
- Must be based in the U.S., ideally in the Eastern Time Zone
