About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Acts as lead and problem solver, balances personnel and facilitates the movement of product(s) through designated area of responsibility
Monitors the conduct, performance and contribution of cell members
Performs manual assembly, operation of automated assembly equipment, hand soldering, operation of automated test equipment, and inspection and repair of products
Compiles data and generates reports on cell performance
Possesses foundation skills and appropriate technical / leadership skills

Requirements

What you’ll need

4 to 5 years of relevant experience
High school diploma and additional courses after high school, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Knowledge and understanding of board assembly process and product process flow
Ability to set up, operate, and maintain assembly and hand soldering equipment and tools
Ability to recognize problems in the assembly process or with assembly components
Knowledge of product quality, soldering specifications and SMT processing systems
Knowledge of computer applications e.g. Word, Lotus Notes, Excel
Must possess specific certifications as defined by site operations
