About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Acts as lead and problem solver, balances personnel and facilitates the movement of product(s) through designated area of responsibility
- Monitors the conduct, performance and contribution of cell members
- Performs manual assembly, operation of automated assembly equipment, hand soldering, operation of automated test equipment, and inspection and repair of products
- Compiles data and generates reports on cell performance
- Possesses foundation skills and appropriate technical / leadership skills
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4 to 5 years of relevant experience
- High school diploma and additional courses after high school, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge and understanding of board assembly process and product process flow
- Ability to set up, operate, and maintain assembly and hand soldering equipment and tools
- Ability to recognize problems in the assembly process or with assembly components
- Knowledge of product quality, soldering specifications and SMT processing systems
- Knowledge of computer applications e.g. Word, Lotus Notes, Excel
- Must possess specific certifications as defined by site operations
