Key responsibilities & impact

Performs manual assembly, operation of automated assembly equipment, hand soldering, operation of automated test equipment, and inspection and repair of products
Performs machine and line setups, feeder repairs, and first line preventative maintenance
Works under general supervision and refers situations not covered by processes to expert resources
May provide functional guidance and demonstrate work methods to new employees
Engages in exchanges of factual information with supervisors, co-workers, and team members

Requirements

What you’ll need

Must possess specific certifications as defined by site operations
In-depth knowledge and understanding of board assembly process and product process flow
In-depth knowledge of product quality, soldering specifications and SMT processing systems
Ability to set up, operate, calibrate and maintain assembly and hand soldering equipment and tools
Ability to recognize problems in the assembly process or with assembly components and to address those problems
Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of internal and external customers
Ability to work effectively with team members and lead the team to high quality production within tight deadlines
Knowledge of in-circuit and functional test fixturing
Knowledge of computer applications for accurate task performance in Word, Lotus Notes, Excel, and Documentation control systems
