Support the end to end materials ‘Must Win’ quoting process for strategic customer bids
Work with internal and external customers to resolve product data integrity issues
Develop and deploy effective sourcing strategies with various teams
Deliver competitive and timely material pricing solutions
Lead and support process improvement initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need

3 to 6 years relevant experience in supply chain or procurement
Ability to interpret & analyze technical product data at both component and assembly level (electronic & mechanical)
Demonstrate ability to use web platforms to pull commercial & technical info for electronics components
Ability to consolidate, manipulate and analyze costing and pricing data
Ability to analyze financial data and understand the impact of material costs on project profitability
Demonstrate understanding of how an EMS supply chain works and key commodity cost drivers
Demonstrate awareness of supplier pricing and strategies
Ability to effectively build relationships with suppliers and negotiate favorable outcomes
Demonstrate strong systems skills, including MS Office and Celestica-specific tools
Demonstrate strong analytical skills
Ability to be detail-oriented and manage multiple projects
Ability to influence, motivate and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
Ability to develop and champion novel solutions.
