About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Read and analyze schematic diagrams, circuit descriptions, and technical information
- Troubleshoot and repair failed products
- Inspect for physical and visual quality requirements
- Isolate and replace faulty components
- Set up, operate, and adjust test sets and auxiliary equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance and maintain records for equipment availability
- Help move, install, set up, and refurbish equipment
- Provide functional guidance to others performing similar work
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2-4 years of relevant experience
- College diploma (2 or 3 years) in a related field or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of electrical, electromechanical and pneumatic systems
- Strong knowledge of specific equipment sets used in manufacturing
- Ability to read and interpret product specifications, schematics, and mechanical drawings
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools for test assembly
- Knowledge of computer programming (e.g. C++)
- Ability to effectively communicate with a variety of internal customers
